WGP MiniCocker
DESCRIPTION:
The Sniper III Mini Pump is 16 inches in length and weighs about 2 and 1/2
pounds. Manufactured from lightweight aluminum and rust-proof stainless steel,
the Sniper III is sturdy, reliable, and as durable as they come. The smooth-bore
barrel is eight-inches in length. The aluminum bolt can be easily removed
via the push-button bolt retaining pin. Once the bolt is removed, a squeegee
can be pulled through the body and barrel of the gun. To adjust the velocity,
you must first remove the cocking rod, allowing access to the allen-screw
adjustment. A quarter-turn will increase/decrease your velocity about 20
feet per second.
PROCEDURE: With a securely bench-mounted gun, we fire 200+ rounds
of paint (eight brands) at four target distances. At 100 & 125 feet,
the target size is 22" x 22". At 75 & 50 feet, the target size is reduced
to 8" x 11". All accuracy testing is performed indoors at 60 - 80 degrees
(f). The gun is re-sighted at each target distance change. For this accuracy
test we used RP Scherer (original), Marballizer, Zap Advantage, Nelson Precision,
Proball, 68 ultra, Stinger, and Bullseye paint.

situations.
1 shot 288 FPS
2 shots 282 FPS
3 shots 284 FPS
4 shots 277 FPS
5 shots 278 FPS
6 shots 280 FPS
10 shots 272 FPS
OBSERVATIONS:
During accuracy testing, we encountered only 7 ball breaks in 10,000 rounds
fired. The Sniper III is a very easy gun to field-strip and clean. The Sniper
III has a smooth pump and a quick trigger, allowing for a good rate of fire
even without an auto-trigger (There are several aftermarket external
auto-triggers available for the Sniper III). The Sniper III Mini-Pump is
higher priced than many other pump-guns, but with this one you get what you
pay for. This is a tournament level pump-gun. The Sniper III, Mini-Pump performs
in all weather conditions, it's accurate, smooth, and easy to maintain. The
Sniper III is an excellent value and our Second Runner-Up for "Pump-Gun of
the Year" for 1994.
