Berserks
(Europe)
The Berserks were founded in 1994, when current Captain Nicolas Iuel-Brockdorff
left the Ugly Ducklings to start his own team. The team led a very turbolent
existence for the next 3 years,
with
over 25 players joining and leaving the team.
In 1997 the present roster started to come together, and the ground for later
succes was founded by a 2nd place finish at the Hyperball World Championships
(Amateur).
Since then the team has gone from strength to strength in the European Amateur
ranks, and is now poised to move up to Pro level, at the end of the present
Millenium Series (Finals at the Mayhem Masters in May 2000).
The team website www.berserks.com will be up and running at the start of
year 2000.
