Bad Company (Pro
Ten-Man)
Bad Company: Bad Company formed in the late 1980's under the leadership
of Captain, Tom Cole (who has never played on another team). More than 10
years later, Tom is still Captain, but the team has changed dramatically.
Although Bad Company has made the NPPL ten-man finals five times, their only
win came in 1996 at the Pittsburgh Open. Bad Co's best finish in 1998 or
1999 is 7th place.
Unlike many other pro teams, Bad Company's roster is not chock full of "star"
players--by Tom Cole's choice. With the exception of Oh Pawlak, Tom
has intentionally stayed away from the "free agent" market, building from
within (from Bad Company II and other local Maryland and Virginia
teams). Some of Bad Company's key players are Tom Cole, Steve Pisek
(former OBR Captain), Jackie George, Rick "Rah Rah" Crawford, and Rusty Bowling.
