Evaluation
Max Attack High Pressure System
The Max Attack high pressure system is manufactured in Australia (regulator)
and U.S. (tank), by Mac Developments. The Max Attack system evaluated
 here
is a 4500 psi (pounds per square inch), 68 cubic-inch system. The retail
price of the 4500 psi Max Attack high pressure system (hps) is $465 (U.S.).
Design/Construction:
The Max Attack hps includes an aluminum fiber wrapped tank, bottom-line mounting
cradle, tank and output pressure gauges, stainless steel regulator, and fill
adapter valve protector. The fill adapter is not the standard and the unit
does not come with an integral on/off valve.

Performance:
Using the Max Attack system during field testing we encountered virtually
no problems. We used the system with both an Automag, and an Autococker.
Velocity Consistency: All velocity testing was done using nitrogen and a
stock Automag. Read from left to right.

Comments: Using an Automag shooting in the 290's we were able to get
1125 good shots from a tank fill. This size system allows you to get through
almost any tournament game, or half a day's play for walk-on players--and
it's not huge like the 114 c.i., 3000 psi systems that get you about the
same number of shots. The output pressure gauge allows the user to monitor
the pressure going into the gun, which is critical for optimum performance
with most semi- autos.

Versatility:
As we said earlier, the non-standard fill adapter can be a pain. On the other
hand, the dual gauges make setting the system up with any paintgun a breeze.
The output pressure is adjusted using an allen wrench on the top end of the
regulator.

Price:
At $465 retail the Max Attack is priced in the middle of the pack. The are
similar systems higher priced and lower priced.
Conclusion:
The Max Attack high pressure system is a well made product that gives the
user excellent performance. The price is fair as well.
