Evaluation
Prolite Star-Fire Bolt
The Starr-Fire Bolt for the Tippmann Prolite is manufactured by Picco
Enterprises, and distributed by several of the larger Paintball products
distributors. The Starr-Fire Bolt has a suggested retail price of $16.95
Design/Construction:
The Starr-Fire Bolt is manufactured from aluminum and is anodized light blue.
The bolt contains no o-ring and has a six grooves machined (internally) into
the face of the bolt. The Starr-Fire bolt weighs less than one-half ounce.

Performance/Versatility:
We used the Starr-Fire bolt in several stock Tippmann Prolites and found
very little if any, improvement to the gun's performance.

Using the Starr-Fire bolt

We also noticed little improvement in maintenance of velocity using the
Starr-Fire bolt. Ball breakage in the gun was unaffected as well.

Price:
At $16.95 retail, the Starr-Fire bolt is priced on the low end compared to
other Prolite bolts.

Conclusion:
In our testing for this evaluation, the Starr-Fire bolt from Picco International
did not improve the performance of the Tippmann Prolite.
