Micro Duck High Pressure System
The Micro Duck high pressure system is distributed by Paintball Mania Supplies
of Imperial, Missouri. The Micro Duck is a 53 cubic-inch, 3000 psi (pounds
per square inch) system, that screws directly onto your gun's C02 adapter.
Included with the Micro Duck system is an output pressure gauge. The Micro
Duck retails for around $175.
Design/Construction:
The Micro Duck's valve is manufactured from a variety of materials including
brass, stainless steel, and aluminum. The tank is made from an aluminum alloy
that is not the standard fiber-wrapped variety--it's made from a thick gauge
aluminum. This is similar (or identical) to the tank used on the Air America
Tsunami system. The Micro Duck is fourteen inches in length and weighs just
under four pounds.
There is no way to adjust the output pressure of the Micro Duck. It is factory
set at 800 psi.

Performance/Versatility:
We used the Micro Duck system for a period of five weeks, field testing it
each weekend. We found the system to be very reliable. One of the disadvantages
of the Micro Duck hps is that is fairly heavy.
Using an Automag (10-inch DYE barrel) we were able to get 675 good shots
from a tank fill.

Price:
At $175 retail, the PMS Micro Duck System is one of the least expensive high
pressure systems available.

Conclusion:
If you're in the market for a budget-priced high pressure system, the Micro
Duck may be what you need. It's reliable, get's you close to as many shots
as a twenty-ounce C02 tank, and it will give you pretty consistent performance
in cold weather with most paintguns. The Micro Duck system seems like a natural
upgrade for inexpensive guns like the Spyder, Carbine, etc.
