LAPCO's Stingray Barrel Adapter
The Stingray barrel adapter for the Brass Eagle Stingray is manufactured
by LAPCO of southern California. The barrel adapter allows Stingray owners
to use Spyder barrels on their guns. LAPCO's Spyder barrel adapter retails
for around $22.
Design/Construction:
The Stingray barrel adapter is manufactured from a lightweight metal alloy
(probably aluminum) and has a gold finish. The barrel adapter is threaded
to accept Spyder barrels on one end, and slides into the Stingray receiver
on the other end. The two pins that hold the Stingray barrel in place now
hold the barrel adapter in place. The adapter sticks out from the Stingray
receiver slightly, exposing the end of the brass colored adapter.

Performance/Versatility:
Not a lot to talk about here....the adapter allows the user to use a variety
of barrels that would not have worked on the Stingray otherwise. This is
a well thought-out product. We tried several aftermarket Spyder barrels using
this adapter and all worked.

At $22 retail the LAPCO Stingray barrel adapter is priced very fairly.

Conclusion:
If you're a Brass Eagle Stingray owner and you're looking for an aftermarket
barrel for your gun, The LAPCO barrel adapter will make that search much
easier. However, it also makes the aftermarket barrel $22 more.
